A relaxed intro with the hiring manager, usually around 40 minutes. Some roles add a short test task.

Technical Conversation
A deeper talk with a senior person from your future team. Runs about an hour, sometimes more. Covers fundamentals through to architecture and how you actually work.

How long is the hiring process from start to offer?
About 18 days on average, from your first conversation to your offer. It shifts with the client's size, their internal process, and the time of year, so some moves take a few days and others a few weeks.
How many interviews should I expect, and who are they with?
Usually 3 to 4. One with a Genius Match recruiter, then an intro and a technical interview on the client's side. Some roles add a short test task or a final call with a senior leader.
Who do I actually work for, Genius Match or the client?
You're contracted with Genius Match. Your day-to-day work happens with the client's team, but we handle your pay and stay in your corner. Our People Operations team works to keep you happy with your team and your role, and they're always there if something isn't working.
How long do engagements usually last?
Around 2.5 years on average, and plenty run longer. We build long-term partnerships with clients and integrate our people deep into their teams, so the right match tends to stay.
What happens to me when a client project ends?
You keep your contract with us, and we have your back. We look for your next role across our client, partner, and prospect lists. If we can't place you right away, our Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams still help with market insight, advice, practical steps, and coaching, so you land your next role, even if that turns out to be somewhere else.
Where will I be working, and is it remote?
Fully remote, with US tech companies. Work from anywhere.
